Immune Boost Session
The Immune Boost session focuses on the Lymphatic and Respiratory systems, two key systems for maintaining the integrity of the immune system and supporting well-being through the winter months. Moving fluid, stimulating awareness, and opening channels for these systems is the basis of the session.
Thieves Oil is used in the beginning of the massage. Thieves Oil is a traditional blend of pure essential oils that has been used for centuries to stimulate immunity. The folklore around Thieves is fascinating - it was said to have been originally used during the Black Plague, when thieves would rub their hands with this oil before robbing from victims of the plague, and the oil would prevent them from falling ill. Though a rather grim tale, it speaks to the powerful protection this oil offers during vulnerable times. Rasa's Thieves Oil is custom blended with organic and wild-crafted essential oils: Clove Bud (CO2 Extraction), Organic Cinnamon, Organic Lemon, Eucalyptus Narrow Leaf, and Organic French Rosemary Verbenone.
This 60-minute service includes massage with therapeutic essential oils, a scrub, contrast shower, and hot towels.
