To let inner beauty and well being circulate, Lymph Drainage massages the lymph nodes of the body and assists lymph vessels to accelerate lymph flow, detoxify, and boost the immune system for antibodies and healing. The lymph system does not have an instrument (like the heart) that self purifies. Muscle movement, breathing, and blood pressure regulate its circulation. As a result, when
physical or mental stress build up, it creates more toxins and waste
in the body and stunts the flow of the lymphatic fluid. This can cause a slowed metabolism, skin troubles, bloating, constipation, and other feelings of dis ease.

The lymphatic system is our natural
detoxification system. When it functions well, our inner beauty radiates.

What Causes Lymphedema?

Primary lymphedema is usually due to either a congenital absence of or abnormalities in the lymphatic tissue. It can be hereditary (Milroy disease), come on during the onset of puberty (lymphedema praecox) or even later in life (lymphedema tarda).

Secondary lymphedema is generally caused by an obstruction or interruption of the lymphatic system, usually caused by malignancies, infection, trauma, excision or post-radiation fibrosis.

Why Treat the Lymphatic System?

The lymphatic system cleans up excess fluid and waste from the body. If the system is sluggish, the whole body is not properly cleared of this fluid and waste; resulting in toxicity and lymphedema.

** Lymphatic Drainage (often called Manual Lymphatic Drainage) is not the same as massage. It is specific, gentle, and rhythmical. Lymphatic Drainage relies on a precise sequence of movements to reroute the lymph flow around blocked areas and promote drainage.

Lymphatic Drainage can help with chronic sinusitis, chronic headaches and migraines, and scars/burns.
