Aromatherapy
Chemistry. We love it! No, not that periodic-table kind of chemistry. We're talking about what happens when we experience certain scents, how they can spark memory or calm or energize, and how they change with whomever's skin they touch.
All last year, we have been working at perfecting the new Rasa Signature Aromatherapy Blends, and they are finally here! In this special new session, we incorporate them into your massage, greatly upping the relaxation and therapeutic factors. Add to that the caring application of hot towels and our own Rasa Foot Cream treatment with lavender, balsam copaiba and peppermint and you have one of the loving-est sessions we've created in a while, perfect to lanch for the month of Love.

Adbuhta - (The Wonder Rasa) - We are in awe of this combination of scents evoking feelings of curiosity, mystery and expansion. This blend reminds of us the doahs Pita. Essential oils: Balsam Copaiba, Fragonia, German Chamomile, Honey Myrtle, Lime, Palo Santo and Vetiver.
Cha Roberts, Aromatherapist
My aromatherapy introduction occurred while a student at the Finger Lakes
School of Massage (FLSM).
I was invited to join the staff there, after graduation, and eventually
became part of the teaching staff, first in Swedish Massage, Hydrotherapy
and Essential Oils for over 10 years.
As a Certified Holistic Aromatherapist, I have formed a partnership with
Iveta Dervay, after creating AromaEducators. We offer 1 and 2 day Introductory
Aromatherapy workshops, and 3 hour talks on various aspects of essential
oils. Our goal is to "Educate one Drop at a Time" about the safe and
effective use of Essential Oils for personal body care, the therapeutic use
for conditions that are usually treated with over-the-counter remedies; use
in household products; stress relief, pain relief and more.
The study of Essential Oils is fascinating, fun, intellectually stimulating
and deeply satisfying: there is a vast amount of evidenced based information
about the therapeutic use for health. In our classes we generally create
products using Essential Oils, which students get to take home and use. Not
only is this fulfilling but they also learn how to make household cleaners,
body products, etc., which can be passed on to family and friends. This is a
wonderful way to offer your Sweet family and friends love products as a way to
live more naturally and healthy with organic and high quality ingredients
Another aspect of my practice is to create and formulate signature essential
oil blends for the spa industry, which is fabulous because I love to blend. But
the most rewarding work has been to work with clients who have been treated
with radiation for extended periods and to help bring relief for them.
I am fortunate to have studied and continue to study with Andrea Butje of
Aromahead Institute, Rhiannon Harris of EORC. I continue to attend advanced
classes, lectures and workshops with them and others in the aromatherapy
community.
