4 week series: Thursdays, January 10-31, 6-8 pm

Advance registration prior to December 31st: $90 for full series or $25 for an individual class

After December 31st: $120 for the series or $30 for an individual class

Ayurveda is an ancient style of traditional medicine from India and a sister science to yoga. It translates as the wisdom of life or science of vitality. If you are seeking an alternative for your health and want to learn new habits to make 2019 your most vital year yet, join us for this 4 week series.

1/10- Healing and Prevention

An introduction to what Ayurveda is and how you can apply this knowledge in easy practical ways to your every day routines.

1/17- Sleep

Do you have difficulty sleeping or lack energy throughout the day? This class will be focused on learning ways to sleep deeper and through the night. *We will be using essential oils in this class*

1/24- Diet and Digestion

There is so much information about food out there, and so many conflicting views about what to eat! How do you know what is the right diet for you?! In this class we will focus on using Ayurvedic principles to strengthen digestion. We will explore basic Ayurvedic recipes and learn to eat with the seasons.

1/31- Meditation

The number one recommendation for most conditions in Ayurveda (especially anything stress related) is meditation. Find out how this practice can become an endless resource for your health and learn easy ways to incorporate this practice into your daily routine.


About Rachel Bush:

Rachel came to the practices of yoga and Ayurveda with the desire to heal. After her first year of practice she had undergone such a transformation in her health and state of mind she decided to dedicate her life to these practices. She is a Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist and Ayurvedic Practitioner. She has been teaching Anusara Yoga since 2005. She has been studying herbal medicine and Ayurveda for over 15 years and graduated from New World Ayurveda in 2018. She is the owner of Mosaic Studio Collective in Trumansburg, NY where she offers weekly classes, advanced training and individual consultations. She enjoys teaching with humor and a light heart and weaving storytelling with technical instruction to demystify the complexities of mind and body. She believes that we are each a channel of brilliance and through healing we open the door to our own greatest treasure.
